2007-S Silver Proof Kennedy Half Dollar, Lamination Clip Error. The Lamination/Clip Planchet error is on the obverse of the coin around the’L’ in LIBERTY. Notice in the the pictures how the’L’ is fully struck through the damaged planchet. This is a very interesting error. I noticed this error in one of my silver proof mint sets. I pulled it from the set with cotton gloves, took a few pictures, examined with a coin microscope (see last two pictures), then placed in a 2×2 mylar/cardboard holder.
