2000 – 2022 Kennedy Half 92 Coin Set (46 P&D Mint Set BU + 23 Clad S Proofs + 23 SILVER S Proofs). Up for sale is a complete 2000 – 2022 Kennedy Half 92 Coin PDSS with ALL of the coins coming directly from US Mint and US Proof Sets. This set which includes the business strike Philadelphia and Denver Coins (23 each) from the US Mint Sets with the coins still in the cut out mint set packaging and are all high quality nice coins. Long time collectors know that the best quality business strike coins are generally mint set coins versus lower quality rolled coins. Note that the P & D coins from mint sets over the years 2005 through 2010 were the mints special “satin” finish coins so this set contains “satin” finish Kennedy P & D coins from 2005 through 2010. Also in this set are ALL of the regularly issued Silver and Clad proofs over the period 2000 – 2022. There are 23 “S” Clad proofs, all of which have been taken directly from US Proof Sets and, as well, 23 “S” Silver Proofs (mostly 90% silver, though the latter years are 99.9% silver) also taken directly from US Proof Sets. This is a very nice set of Kennedy Halves for a very reasonable price. None of the Kennedy halves over this period were ever put into circulation with mint production only available by purchasing the coins directly from the mint in bags or rolls. That makes the mintages on these coins modest compared to coins that actually circulate. It also makes finding these coins challenging at reasonable pricing. Clad proof coins from 2012 through 2022 are reasonably scarce (the mint simply does not sell proof sets like they used to and the only source for clad proof Kennedy coins are the annual clad proof sets) and have become relatively pricey (and driving the cost of this set up significantly). That has created a relative scarcity of latter year silver proof Kennedy coins and driven up their price as well.
