1964 (Accent Hair) Kennedy Silver 50C, NGC PF69 Cameo with Reverse Rotation

The enhanced hair details were removed at the request of Jacqueline Kennedy. Her request was acted upon by the US Mint quite early in the production cycle and it is estimated that only about 2% of the 1964 Kennedy proofs have this feature. His coin has a brilliant, white surface on the obverse and the reverse sides. The fields are highly mirrored and the cameo effect on the obverse really highlights the enhanced hair details. Currently, NGC has graded 39 Accent Hair coins at this level with only one graded higher with a star. There are only 2 coins graded PF69 Ultra Cameo. Note that this coin also displays a rotated die error on the reverse. This is a 15 to 20 degree counter clockwise rotation. The coin pictured is the one being offered. Thank you for looking.
