Hope this helps, I also added a coin showing the tiny stamp on the BUTTOM of the neck on the coin… Circulated, comes with “Certificate of Authenticity”, still not registered. Also comes with the custom wooden presentation case (the case is in Ok condition, but it does have scratches around and the white satin is lose) please see photos…. On November 22, 1963 President John F. Kennedy was assassinated in Dallas, Texas. After careful consideration, the half dollar was selected to commemorate the late president. The mint began producing the new Kennedy half dollar in January of 1964. Souvenir collectors wishing to remember the slain president bought millions of these coins at their local banks. To mark the 200th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, Congress authorized the production of a commemorative half dollar. Kennedy half dollars minted in 1975 and 1976 bear the dual date 1776 – 1976. Special collector edition coins have been struck on 40% silver, 90% Silver and copper-nickel clad planchets in both business strike, proof finishes and special mint strikes. But silver kennedy halves, from 1970, can only be found in silver proof sets and similar, as the government never released them into circulation. The coins from 1971 and up are not silver, weighing only 11.34g. Obverse Side is the image of John F Kennedy, the 35th President of the United States. The Reverse shows an Eagle holding an olive branch (peace) and arrows (strength). The thirteen stripes represent the 13 colonies. The horizontal bar across the top represents Congress forming one government from many. Fifty stars representing the fifty states encircle the eagle. Thanks for paying attention to this.
